Certification

IMC personnel are trained in Microbial Remediation through in-house training classes, and industry courses and certification.

Matt Mongiello and Chuck Mongiello have been awarded the credential Certified Mold Remediator (CMR) by the Indoor Air Quality Association www.iaqu.org.

In order to obtain CMR status, an individual must achieve a passing score of 70 percent or greater on a rigorous, 3-hour examination. CMR status is only awarded to individuals who meet experience requirements that assure field knowledge of mold remediation and related indoor environmental issues.

Project Manager Ken Hilbeck completed the IAQA Mold Remediation Worker Training Class on November 13, 2003. Ken attended a two day class designed to impart the fundamental information necessary for competent mold remediation work. The class consisted of 8 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of hands-on instruction. Ken demonstrated mastery of the information presented by successfully completing a written examination.
